A little over a month after the start of Stage 2, all stages of the European Championship have delivered their verdict and we know the four teams that will represent Europe at the BLAST Atlanta Major, which begins at the end of the month .

It was on Monday September 18 that the first part of Stage 2 returned to the Old Continent. The bottom six were sent to the EU Open or directly to the Last Chance Qualifier, while the top six joined the Europe League Playoffs.
Where they were timid at the start of the season, the French BDS and Wolves did well by finishing second and third respectively in the qualifiers, thereby qualifying for the next Six Major. These Playoffs also saw JoyStiCK’s Virtus.pro regain their former colors; winning first place in the championship, the Russians made a strong impression and sent a strong message to their opponents at the Atlanta Major.

On the European Open side, it was G2, Secret, KOI and finally Valor who stood out and obtained their place in the Last Chance Qualifier, where MNM, WYLDE and Into The Breach, qualified via the Playoffs of the 12-star league, as well as Dunlimited, winners of the 2022 European Challenger League.
After experiencing more than one difficulty during Stage 2 of this Europe League, G2 Esports led by Alem4o secured the essentials by winning the Last Chance Qualifier and their access title to the BLAST Copenhagen Major.
Virtus.Pro, Team BDS, Wolves Esports and therefore G2 Esports will thus be the representatives of Europe at the BLAST Atlanta Major, which will take place in the state of Georgia from October 31 to November 12.
The Major will be divided into three phases. A first will see Wolves and G2 travel through a GSL format tree among four other teams from around the world, with a view to qualifying for phase 2 of the competition, a Swiss round in which Virtus.Pro and BDS will already find themselves. The eight best teams in this second stage will compete in the playoffs, in BO3, to crown the champion of the BLAST Atlanta Major, the second of the 2023 season, which will be the last international event before the Six Invitational 2024.
