The Italian star gave the Eurovision audience a hell of a show. She opened the evening with a medley of her greatest songs, while changing outfits during the performance. But the singer then mysteriously disappeared from the scene for almost an hour.
What happened ? On France 2, Stéphane Bern suggested that she had felt unwell. Laura Pausini herself explained her absence during the competition on her Instagram account this Sunday. “I just wanted to tell you that you don’t have to worry and that I’m fine,” she wrote. “I suffered from low blood pressure during the final so I had to stop for twenty minutes on the advice of the doctors. They helped me very well.”
The artist specifies that the last six months of preparation for the show have been very eventful and stressful. “I am very happy to have been able to finish the evening anyway, with Alessandro Cattelan and Mika”, she finishes.
