In Primorye, more than 500 people are evacuated from the popular holiday village of Andreevka. The reason is flooding following a powerful cyclone. As stated in the administration of the Khasan district, the ships of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) moved to the aid of the inhabitants. It will be carried out in the port of Zarubino.

“In Andreevka, the evacuation of people to Zarubino has begun. At the moment, more than 500 people are being evacuated. Pacific Fleet ships will arrive at lunchtime and deliver them to Vladivostok. Evacuation flights will run for three days,” specified in the message.

Local residents spoke regarding the situation in the flooded village. According to them, now a long line of cars has formed there, which are preparing for evacuation. It is worth noting that a detachment of the Pacific Fleet in one transition from Zarubin to Vladivostok can transport 40 vehicles and regarding 700 people.

It is known that the Pacific Fleet detachment is headed by a large landing ship (BDK) “Nikolai Vilkov”.

Recall that in Primorye, showers began in early August, and on August 25, the authorities announced the introduction of a state of emergency at the federal level. The total damage caused by the elements has already reached 7 billion rubles.
