Dozens of Saudis and nationals of other countries arrived by sea in the city of Jeddah, after being evacuated from Sudan, on Saturday, after the battles between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces entered their second week.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry is coordinating with the Sudanese authorities
- The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that it “coordinates and follows up around the clock with all concerned state agencies, the Sudanese authorities, the Egyptian embassy in Khartoum and Egyptian consulates in Port Sudan and Wadi Halfa, the conditions of the Egyptian community in Sudan.”

The General Command of the Armed Forces said in a statement:

Hamidti discusses the “evacuation” with the French Foreign Minister
For his part, the commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo “Hamedti”, said in a statement that he “discussed by phone with the French Foreign Minister, Catherine Colonna, the current developments in Sudan.
