+ Reiterates its support, solidarity and coordination to continue on the path of academic excellence.
Acapulco Gro; April 28, 2022.- During her visit to the faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, Governor Evelyn Salgado Pineda reiterated her support, backing, solidarity, coordination, openness and dialogue with the Autonomous University of Guerrero (UAGro), to continue the path of academic excellence. There, the president delivered furniture and equipment, inaugurated the Dentofacial Imaging Diagnostic Module and signed a collaboration agreement between the state government and the institution, for educational, legal and cultural issues.
“I want to tell you that you have the full support of the state government. We always say that what is done in Guerrero is well done and our university is proof of this. We have a great university, we have to boast at a national and international level the achievements that have been made little by little thanks to the efforts of all of you, ”he said in his message.
With the presence of the Undersecretary of Higher Education of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), Francisco Luciano Concheiro Bórquez, the governor highlighted the work of the UAGro, which has stood out as a leading educational institution at the national level and is an example, for her commitment, social vocation and her solidarity, becoming a great ally of the people of Guerrero.
“Let them know that they are not alone and they are not alone, they have all the commitment and all the support of the governor, who is their friend, is their ally, in this cause, in this fight,” he added.
In her meeting with the students, the governor delivered 2,000 seats, 100 computers, 50 video projectors, 50 desks, 200 secretarial chairs, 50 printers, 50 file cabinets, 50 blackboards, and 20 air conditioners. She also delivered a mobile unit for dental care, which will serve in the medical caravans offered by the UAGro; Similarly, she toured the different areas and educational classrooms, where she learned how the medical and dental team works.
During his speech, the Undersecretary of Higher Education expressed his appreciation to Governor Evelyn Salgado for the work she has undertaken and her contribution to the profound transformation in the country. “It has not just begun and our governor is making history, along with the other governors of Mexico,” he said.
While the rector of the UAGro, José Alfredo Romero Olea thanked the presence and support of the governor, to achieve the strengthening of the Maximum House of Studies of the entity. At the same time he reiterated the social commitment of the institution.
