Even the river was painted green for St. Patrick’s Day – VIDEO

St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated not only in Ireland, but also in other Anglo-Saxon countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. On the occasion of St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Chicago, the river was painted green once more this year, a tradition that goes back more than 60 years. The local plumbers’ association poured regarding 40 kilograms of biodegradable paint into the water, which they promised would not harm the living world at all.
