Leg lengthening is said to be one of the most painful cosmetic surgeries there is, as Theresia Fischer can attest. The 29-year-old wants to have her thighs lengthened for the second time. The procedure is scheduled to take place on March 22 and will add a full six centimeters to the influencer’s 113 centimeter legs. But the beauty surgery should not only help the former GNTM participant visually.
In an interview with the magazine «Gala» Theresia now reveals the reasons for the painful operation. She goes into intimate details from the bedroom: “Certain sex positions don’t work with my legs. I can’t squat and keep falling backwards. In addition, I have no flexibility in bed.” In addition, the wife of filmmaker Thomas Behrend (58) would have difficulty walking in high heels and doing sports. The reason for the intervention is therefore primarily to “have a healthy anatomy picture”.
Physical risks and high costs
But how exactly do you lengthen your legs? In an interview with RTL Theresia explains the process of such an operation: “The femurs are sawed through from the inside and then telescopic rods are inserted on both sides. The rods then have to be lengthened independently by one millimeter every day.” After the operation, a rest period of at least five months is recommended.
For a better quality of life, the 29-year-old is not only willing to endure pain, but also to spend a lot of money. According to calculations by RTL, the cost of such a leg operation is estimated at around CHF 58,000. In addition, the process is not without risk. In the event of complications, the model could even face a life in a wheelchair. But that doesn’t seem to scare Theresia. After her first leg lengthening, she wrote on Instagram: “I will do it again!”
