Thiruvananthapuram ∙ The Public Administration Department is examining the letter given by B. Ashok in the incident where SFI State Secretary P. M. Arsho and his friend broke into the office of Dr. B. Ashok, the Principal Secretary of Agriculture and Vice Chancellor of Kerala Agricultural University on Wednesday.
Ashok has issued the letter pointing out that the person who entered the special security area of the Secretariat has created noise and commotion and henceforth this person should be monitored when entering the Secretariat. The letter also mentioned that the incident took place during an online meeting with the Union Agriculture Secretaries. However, there is no mention of action against Arshaw and his friend in the letter.
In the event that the chief security officer did not forward the complaint filed by Ashok’s confidential assistant, the top order was to settle the matter. The Public Administration Department is also examining the suggestion that more vigilance should be imposed on visitors to the Secretariat in the wake of the incident in which Arsho and his friend trespassed into the venue of the meeting.
