Exchanged videos ignite the Kubaisi and Ahlam crisis… and Kuwait forms an immediate investigation committee

The questions of the Emirati artist, Ahlam, through social networking sites, caused an uproar in Kuwait, after she expressed her annoyance about her stone in Kuwait 72 hours or 3 days before she was able to leave, despite taking the necessary measures and vaccinating against Corona, while the Qatari artist Fahd Al Kubaisi left the next day.

Emirati artist Ahlam published 3 videos to her followers on her official page on a social networking site, because of what she considered “discrimination in treatment” after her stone in Kuwait. Qatari artist Fahd Al-Kubaisi responded to her, and the authorities also took an urgent decision.

And the artist, Ahlam, sent a message to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad and his Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad, during which she wondered why the quarantine was imposed on her for 3 days, unlike the Qatari artist Al-Kubaisi.

And she redirected her letter to the Minister of Defense Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, demanding that she disclose the reason for preventing her from leaving, even though she had come on a private plane and would not endanger the lives of others, while Al-Kubaisi was on a Qatar Airways plane.

The Kuwaiti authorities have opened an investigation to uncover the circumstances, and to ensure that the law is applied to everyone fairly, without discrimination.

While the artist, Fahd Al-Kubaisi, went out through his Twitter account to explain the measures he took during his travels to Kuwait.

He said that upon his arrival in Kuwait, they asked him for a vaccination certificate and a PCR certificate, and his passport was stamped, explaining that he did a PCR examination again before attending one of the wedding parties, and then left Kuwait after the ceremony to return to Qatar.

immediate commission of inquiry

For its part, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced, in the early hours of Monday morning, the formation of an immediate investigation committee regarding the entry and departure of a Gulf artist without adhering to the quarantine procedures imposed by the authorities to confront the “Corona” virus.

The Ministry’s General Department of Relations and Security Media said, “Necessary measures are being taken against the aforementioned artist (without disclosing his identity) for violating the quarantine protocol.”

In an official statement published on the ministry’s Twitter account, the administration stated, “It received a report from the Ministry of Health against a Gulf singer and her companions for violating the quarantine protocol, and legal measures are being taken regarding them.”

Kuwait imposes on arrivals to it a PCR examination 72 hours before arrival, stating that they are not infected with the Corona virus, and a home quarantine is applied to them for a period of 10 days after their arrival, with the possibility of ending this quarantine before that, provided that a PCR examination is performed at least 72 hours after their arrival confirming that they are free from virus.
