The actors Mónica Carrasco and Jorge Gajardo, the iconic duo that starred in the remembered series “Los Venegas”, visited the podcast “It’s time for your podcast”where they spoke with hosts Willy Sabor and “DJ Lolito”.
In this context, the performers who gave life to “Silvita” and “Guillermo” recalled some anecdotes about the program and its extensive career. But they also revealed the disregard of some former faces of TVN.
During the conversation, one of the hosts asked the couple of actors if it was true that the actors in the channel’s soap operas found “Los Venegas” to be “scratchy.”
“Yes, it happened to some people,” Carrasco confessed, pointing out that several faces refused to participate in the program because “it deprofiled them, it lowered their level, because our program was very ordinary.”
Willy Sabor then asked him who the actors who rejected them were, but Carrasco did not want to reveal names. “No, it doesn’t matter,” he stated.
“Better not even know,” added Gajardo for his part.
“I folded the pages, it happened. For what?” Carrasco added.
Likewise, the actress commented that the remembered and beloved series was “a program that was low-cost, at lunch time, so we were seen as a little thing.”
