Exoprimal crossplay will have limits at launch

2023-07-10 11:11:46

Later this week, Capcom will launch its PvPvE dinosaur slayer title, Exoprimal. After years of alphas and betas, the title will finally make its debut on PC and consoles (even as a Game Pass title from day one), and with this impending launch, Capcom has confirmed some interesting developments with crossplay support. of the title.

Essentially, crossplay will be available for Exoprimal, but it won’t be the full version we see with other games. Instead, while you can play once morest and with other platforms, you won’t be able to create groups to group up with players from other platform ecosystems. PlayStation 4 and 5 players will be able to party, as will Xbox One, Xbox Series and Windows players, and then Steam alone.

As to why, Capcom didn’t explain exactly, but the Japanese company iterated:

“We are looking at ways to allow you to play with your friends on other platforms, but this may take some time. On top of that, we’ll be sharing the full title update roadmap with you soon! »

Will you be playing Exoprimal when it debuts on July 14?
