Expensive life: the “powerlessness” of the public authorities

The National Assembly is currently organizing a commission of inquiry into the cost of living in the Overseas Territories. Ten years following the Lurel law, fourteen years following 2009, the deputies themselves draw up the report of their powerlessness to reduce the considerable price differences with the metropolis.
