LR Teschl-Hofmeister: The Lower Austria Family Pass offers numerous discounts, advantages and event highlights in September and October

St.Pölten (OTS) Autumn is coming, and with it the time to start school and fall family outings. As a strong partner, the Lower Austria Family Pass offers the almost 200,000 holders discounts at around 500 partner companies. It bundles offers from the areas of trade, leisure, gastronomy and events in Lower Austria and beyond. “Autumn brings many advantages for holders of the free Lower Austria Family Pass, such as discounts and free admission to around 500 partner companies,” explains Family Councilor Christiane Teschl-Hofmeister.

This coming weekend from September 1st to 3rd, the Lower Austria family pass will be represented at the children’s summer games in the area around the Herzogenburg Abbey. Holders of the Lower Austria family pass receive a discount of two euros on the entry fee when registering for the Lower Austria Women’s Run, which takes place on September 3rd. On September 22, the Lower Austria Family Pass is also well represented at the Lower Austria Research Festival in the Palais Niederösterreich in Vienna, where children, young people and adults can get in direct contact with scientists, ask questions, discover new things and carry out experiments themselves. On October 26, the KINDER.KUNST.FEST offers an exciting day of art, theatre, music, cinema and, above all, lots of fun for young and old on the art mile in Krems. The Lower Austria Family Pass is also included here, because special goodies await holders of the Lower Austria Family Pass. The cultural initiative “Museum10 – discover, marvel, experience” invites you to explore museums in Lower Austria with the Lower Austria family pass for ten euros per family per visit.

Also in the new school year there is the offer of free learning support. As part of the Digital Lower Austria Learning Workshop, parents and legal guardians of school children can secure up to eight hours of free 1:1 learning support with the Lower Austria family pass. The registration phase starts on September 25th. The quota is limited. Students studying to become teachers at a teacher training college or university can register on the platform in order to support children and young people in their learning as a tutor and to earn some extra money alongside their studies.

In addition to the accident protection package for 44 euros per year, school laptop insurance is also offered: This is available with the Lower Austrian family pass for an annual premium of 75 euros from the Lower Austrian insurance company: notebooks and tablets are protected against theft, fire, operating errors and much more , the compensation limit is a maximum of 1,500 euros.
