Light and nimble, the Mazda MX-5 has been conceptually unchanged for more than 30 years, and the roadster has a lot of fans. Consumer Reports experts value a sports car for reliability – in almost all ratings, the MX-5 gets five points out of five, and in 2022 the two-door entered the six most reliable cars on the US market.
Subaru Outback is considered problem-free – if you do not take into account the cars of 2011-2013, which suffered from a factory defect in piston rings, then the Japanese cross-station wagon will not bother the owners. There hasn’t been a single Subaru Outback recall campaign in the US in nearly five years, and JD Power lists the cross-wagon as one of the most trouble-free cars.
