DURING the Eid 2024 return flow period, PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) is implementing a special policy for service users who have tickets long before arriving at the port, especially on the Merak-Bakauheni and Ketapang – Gilimanuk crossings.

ASDP Corporate Secretary Shelvy Arifin asked all service users to prepare for the reverse flow journey which will start on Thursday (11/4), and the peak is expected to occur on Sunday (14/4) or H+3 of Eid 2024.

In anticipation of inconvenience for travelers such as during yesterday’s homecoming flow, ASDP has prepared mitigation measures, namely removing the application of expired tickets up to 24 hours from the time of port entry which applies specifically during the Eid return flow period on April 11-21 2024.

“Service users do not need to worry if they experience traffic jams when heading to the port, because ferry tickets will not be forfeited as long as service users arrive at the port within 24 hours of the check-in time stated on the ticket. Therefore, we ask that travelers who will return immediately buy tickets from now on,” said Shelvy, Friday (12/4).

Travelers should prepare their journey carefully, buy tickets online via Ferizy or official partners well in advance so they don’t run out of quota.

“Make sure you have a ticket before you leave, and come to the port according to the departure schedule stated on the ticket,” he said.

Service users must ensure that they have filled in the passenger and vehicle identification completely and correctly when making an online ticket reservation so that the service user’s insurance rights can be recorded properly.

Meanwhile, service users who have not yet arrived at the port can rest first in the available rest area.

Information regarding online ticket services can be obtained at the Buffer Zone prepared by ASDP or by contacting the contact center officer at 021-191 or 0811-1021191.
