The academic calendar is packed with major regional fixtures designed to pull research out of the laboratory and onto the streets. According to the university’s announcement, upcoming highlights include the Fête de la Science, the Nuit européenne des chercheurs et chercheuses, and the event known as Sur les Épaules des Géants. These gatherings give the public direct access to active researchers and the complex questions driving modern scientific inquiry.
Artistic Interventions and Cultural Formats
Science is only one half of the equation. The institutional schedule leans heavily into performing arts and contemporary culture to spark broader societal conversations. The M.U.R de Teuthis will bridge visual art and scientific culture within the public space as part of the Fête de la Science.
Live performance is equally prominent. The semester line-up includes three distinct stage productions: Laissez verdure, My loneliness is killing me, and Garçon. These projects span theater, contemporary dance, and performance art.
Film also claims a dedicated space through the Ciné Pop Corn cycle. This program invites audiences to screen films on the big screen followed by structured, interactive discussions.

The kickoff for this semester-long exploration takes place on Tuesday, September 15, at 7:00 PM at the Maison de l’Étudiant. The event, dubbed the “Apéro culturel,” will feature a seasonal presentation, a DJ set, a participatory workshop, and a shared buffet.
