A new picture exhibition in the Biebertal municipal administration shows works by Helena Hild. The artist is concerned with the interpretation of astronomical phenomena.
Biebertal (whk). Helena Roseanna Hild, who grew up in Biebertal, is currently exhibiting her large and small-format creations in the Biebertal administration. The laudatory speech at the opening of the show was held by Helena’s father Andreas Hild: »Jim Morrison from the Doors is said to have said: ›There are things known, and things unknown and in between are the Doors‹. This certainly also applies to these rooms and the pictures of Helena. Perhaps they are the doors through which one can gain a glimpse of new realms of knowledge. So an expedition into unknown worlds with species that no human has ever seen before.«
Astronomical phenomena
The pictures should tell of galaxies and energetic processes in infinity as well as beings from another world. Or is it from our world? “I invite you to follow your heart and your imagination and to discover ‘New Spaces’ in Helena’s paintings, processes of infinity as well as shapes and beings,” concluded Andreas Hild. »In my art, in addition to more abstract color and form language in oil pastels and interpretations of astronomical phenomena in acrylic, I am currently dealing with natural structures, especially in the medium of prints. But illustrations of my own literary works and figurative to abstract clay and plaster sculptures are also passions of mine«, says the artist Helena Roseanna Hild. Mayor Patricia Ortmann thanked Hild for her imaginative and diverse picture show in the presence of the organizer of the exhibition, Jürgen Crombach (Cultural Initiative Biebertal). It will be on display in the Biebertal municipal administration for around three months.
Helena Roseanna Hild, born in Wetzlar in 1995 and raised in Biebertal, came to Gießen in 2017 to study art and philosophy to become a high school teacher and is now looking forward to her traineeship. In addition to ongoing projects, which she also pursues on the road and in her father’s studio in Rodheim, and her own further education through courses and internships in various potteries, she herself is always active in the field of artistic education, including as the head of an art group at the Landgraf -Ludwigs-Gymnasium in Gießen 2019 or in leading creative workshops for children and young people at camps and festivals.
During a tour, the young artist gave explanations on the intention, painting technique and motif ideas as well as their realization for the 20 or so interested people. Crombach was delighted that Helena Roseanna Hild was now giving the rooms of the Biebertal municipal administration an appealing picture presentation.
