Places of Childhood: Peter Simonischek
He spent his childhood in Hartmannsdorf, East Styria, and his middle school years at the boarding school in Sankt Paul im Lavanttal, where he appeared several times in the school theater. After school, Peter Simonischek was supposed to become a dentist, like his father. He secretly registered for acting training at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Graz because his father really wanted him to become a doctor.
