The ventilation shaft leading to an abandoned bomb shelter on Krupskaya Street in St. Petersburg was slightly damaged as a result of the explosion. FSB explosives technicians are on the scene.

As Fontanka learned on September 5, an IED exploded in the mine, which, according to preliminary information, consisted of 100-150 grams of gunpowder and a radio module with a battery. It worked around noon in the courtyard of house 5 on Krupskaya Street. The military enlistment office of the Nevsky district is located 20 meters from the explosion site.

Law enforcement officers are on the scene.
