A strong explosion occurred near the customs warehouse at the airport in the city of Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan.
According to local media, the event occurred around three in the morning on Thursday, September 28 in that country and was recorded in several videos and photographs that are circulating on social networks. In the audiovisuals, imposing flames can be seen coming out of the place.

The explosion has affected some houses that are located near the emergency area, so several windows were destroyed. In one of the videos you can see a multi-story building and practically all of its windows completely destroyed.
The flames can be seen from different parts of the city and, in addition, the smoke has been increasing little by little, which makes the panorama become more worrying. Emergency agencies and the city Police have traveled to the site, trying to control the fire and verify the damage caused.
At the moment it is unknown whether the explosion left any victims and the exact causes of the emergency are not known, although some local media indicate that the first investigations indicate that everything occurred because the batteries of some electric cars caught fire.

The emergency completely destroyed the place, as confirmed by the same Police. “Most of the wounded were completely burned. And others had between 50% and 60% of their bodies burned,” said Ahmed Dubardani, deputy director of the Health Directorate of Nineveh, the province where the events occurred.
Faced with this situation, the authorities have called on citizens to take extreme measures when carrying out any type of activity, in order to avoid this type of tragedies. In addition, the Government declared three days of mourning for the victims.
