The explosion took place at an oven, causing a fire which was brought under control by firefighters.
An explosion occurred this Monday, October 9 at 5:40 a.m., at a beet fiber dehydration oven at the Tereos sugar factory, in Bucy-le-Long, near Soissons.
Two people were slightly injured, indicates the prefecture, and taken care of by emergency services, and 80 employees were brought to safety. The explosion also resulted in the destruction of the roof of a 1,500 m² building, in which a fire broke out. He was brought under control by firefighters.
