Investments in fleet renewal – In addition to new markets, Expresso Adamantina recently invested in new buses equipped with sleeper and semi-sleeper seats for its passengers. The company starts operating with Double Decker buses on the lines that connect São Paulo – Cuiabá (MT) and Rio de Janeiro – Campo Grande (MS). It will be the first time that Adamantina, headquartered in the interior of São Paulo, will have these vehicles connecting the markets. Currently, the company makes trips on both sections with conventional and executive services, with a schedule in each direction per day.

The company acquired seven Marcopolo Paradiso New G7 1800 DD road buses, equipped with Scania chassis, and configured with 12 sleeper seats on the lower floor and 44 semi-sleeper seats on the upper floor, all outlets for mobile devices and a minibar. According to the executive director of Grupo Adamantina, Lincon Lourenço, the arrival of DDs becomes important. “The new buses will improve the experience and customer service in several aspects, with modern technological and safety resources and more suitable for long trips like these”, says the executive.

The company’s fleet renewal this year should reach a total of 26 new buses, which will be incorporated into the fleet of 320 vehicles. Expresso Adamantina operates more than 300 destinations on 48 lines within the State of São Paulo, six in Mato Grosso do Sul, in addition to 16 interstate routes.

About Expresso Adamantina – With more than 60 years in the market, Expresso Adamantina is headquartered in the city of Dracena, in the extreme west of São Paulo, where its administrative center and main garage are located. In 2014, at an important moment of change, the company gains a new corporate structure, under the command of businessman Clóvis Nascimento Martins, and receives new investments, in addition to a market vision focused on the future, such as the partnership signed with FlixBus in Brazil.
