Extradition procedure for Waldhäusl after hate speech takes several weeks – Lower Austria

St. Pölten – After a complaint of hate speech once morest Gottfried Waldhäusl (FPÖ), the second president of the Lower Austrian state parliament, the Vienna public prosecutor’s office has made an extradition request. On request, the state parliament administration confirmed receipt of the letter on Thursday. Waldhäusl himself wants to invoke political immunity, the extradition procedure will take several weeks.
