The Long Road in the Dunes star was 75 years old. “Rest in peace!” – wrote in social networks her daughter Liliana, who previously held the post of director of the Latvian MTV. During the filming of this tape, actor Harij Liepinsh, a former soldier of the Latvian SS Legion and future People’s Artist of the USSR, tried to actively look after Lilita. He tried to drag young Lilita into bed, but Eduard Pavuls (who played the role of the father of Ozolini’s heroine – Marta in The Long Road in the Dunes) put the insolent man in his place.

Of particular value to the film is the dialogue of their characters on the topic of political prostitution of representatives of the peoples of the Baltic states. The heroine Ozolini (in a beautiful Russian dubbing) frankly says that many Latvians who built socialism, after the arrival of the Germans, quickly went over to their side and threw the Komsomol badges into a landfill, becoming loyal henchmen of the Nazis.
The film “The Mound” aroused the fury of Arvid Pelshe. The picture was subjected to devastating criticism allegedly for the scene of the rape of the heroine Ozolini by the hero Yakovlev, but in fact for the undesirable theme of “Baltic collaborationism” raised by the director.
After this tape, Ozolinya could not get bright roles for 10 years. They tried their best to push her. Lilith then life was very tight.
Jealousy and loyalty
– A way out of the impasse was found by Ozolini’s friend, the recently deceased actress Regina Razuma. She advised Lilita to renew her relationship with Alois Branch. Regina persuaded director Janis Streicha to insert a tiny episode with Ozolinya into the film Unfinished Dinner. In fact, in the series, he played himself – a real person with a pure heart. Next to Juozas was always his best friend, a real man and a wonderful person Romualdas Ramanaukas. Lilith is lucky to be around two such amazing men.
The general atmosphere on the set was spoiled only by Hariy Liepinsh, who played himself an SS scoundrel and scoundrel. But Lilita looked great next to Andrejs Zagars, who played the role of her son.
She maintained friendly relations with Žagars until the death of the actor, who became the director of the Latvian National Opera in the 1990s and did a lot to preserve the cultural heritage.
