Hottest weekend so far

Last Saturday and Sunday there was the hottest weekend of the year so far in Baden-Württemberg. Health Minister Manfred Lucha (Greens) had therefore warned of the health risks and advised precautionary measures. There is an increased health risk for infants and small children, people with disabilities or chronic diseases as well as for the elderly and people in need of care.

Therefore, more and more cities and municipalities are setting up so-called heat action plans. The aim is to act quickly in the event of heat warnings and to protect particularly vulnerable groups.
