A remote town in China’s arid northwest has set a record temperature, less than 6 months after the country recorded the coldest temperature in its history.

The temperature in Sanbo Township in northwest China’s Xinjiang Province reached 52 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

It is expected that the high temperature will continue for at least 5 more days.

This new temperature broke the record set by China in 2015, when it reached 50 degrees, near Eding Lake, which is 150 meters below sea level.

China recorded the lowest temperature in its history 6 months ago, reaching minus 53.

Since April, several countries in Asia have been hit by record-breaking heat waves, which has raised concerns about the ability of these countries to adapt to the rapid change in climate.

Europe, the Arab region and North America are currently experiencing very hot weather, which has led to the outbreak of fires in several countries.

In Spain, the authorities evacuated at least four thousand people after a forest fire on the island of La Palma got out of control.
