The Formula 1 fans were treated to the exciting sprint format at the Red Bull Ring: After just one free practice session, qualifying for the Austrian Grand Prix began. Saturday will then be all regarding the sprint (with sprint qualifying and the mini GP).
There was a lot to talk regarding in the final training session, when the race director issued numerous penalties, with qualifying laps being canceled. George Russell (Mercedes) and Sergio Pérez (Red Bull Racing) were eliminated in Q2!
