This was their third consecutive game, and they went into the game with a relatively large number of changes. As for the game, we weren’t able to find our own pace, and there were long periods when the opponent had the upper hand in possession. In the first half, when we entered the opponent’s court and had the ball, we were able to shoot, but we were unable to get into the opponent’s deeper position or put them in a difficult position to take a shot.
We started the second half with the goal of getting into the tough spots more often and pressing harder. On the other hand, we gave the lead to our opponents with an own goal and had no choice but to take it back, so I decided to go on the offensive while making substitutions. Gradually we started to feel like we were able to push a little further, and I was glad that we managed to get one in the end.
However, there were some things that didn’t go well today, so I want to reflect on that. However, it is important for us to take advantage of those matches and get the three points. This was the first time this season that we were led, so we will take the fact that we were able to turn that around as a positive and work hard to make the team better.

(The goal was) a good attack from the left side, and at first we were thinking of playing a one-two, but we lost the ball and the ball was thrown up, and Grayson made a nice pass with his chest. So I kicked as hard as I could. You never know what will happen inside the box. As soon as the ball reached Grayson, I thought he might hit it and it would come back, so I just concentrated.
I’ve been out for a long time, so I’m happy to finally be able to play in an official match. In order to join the team, I had a lot of conversations with the staff, and thanks to everyone, I was able to return at 100%, and I was relieved to score a goal in my debut match.
I was really disappointed because the injury happened right after I was transferred, and I let everyone around me down as well. It was a tough time, but I have a long career, so I took it seriously and didn’t panic, just focusing on getting back safely.
Fagiano has a great atmosphere right now. He has a champion’s mentality, and I think that’s important in order to get promoted.
