FAKE NEWS: traveling exhibition

This traveling exhibition in libraries makes it possible to give a clear definition of what fake news is (the diversity of forms it covers, the risks), to see how artists lead us to think differently regarding the question, how can we act in daily life?

A Fake News season accompanied by the MEL
Between March and July 2023, La Condition Publique in Roubaix is hosting an expanded version of the EDF Foundation’s “Fake News: art, fiction, lie” exhibition. This exhibition brings together works by artists who alert and question the proliferation of false information in our hyper-connected world while shaking up our critical mind in order to decipher the mechanisms of false information.
The MEL wanted to echo this exhibition by offering a complete program on the territory around this current theme: live performance, exhibitions, bibliography, meetings, workshops, etc. Several partners are associated: the Public Condition, the museum of the Battle of Fromelles, the Lab 148, the social centers, the youth services, the network of libraries, the Clémi, the Pass culture, etc.

Find all the FAKENEWS 2023 programming: conferences, workshops, meetings, exhibitions and shows on the MEL agenda and the “to follow…” portal.
