Residents of the Gatineau-Ottawa region will be able to take advantage of a little respite at the pump this weekend, when some service stations are posting a price of $1.51 per liter for regular gas.

Indeed, on Saturday, the gas stations of Costco businesses display the price of regular fuel at $1.51 per liter and premium gasoline at $1.63 per liter according to the GasBuddy website.
During the day, several residents confirmed to TVA Nouvelles that the prices for refueling in Ottawa varied between $1.51/L and $1.59/L.
South of the river, in Gatineau, service stations are posting prices between $1.83/L and $1.89/L.
We bet that some citizens of the largest city in the Outaouais might take advantage of the weekend to make a detour to the capital to fill up their vehicles.
The realistic pump price in the Outaouais according to CAA Quebec is 1.79% per litre.
