The prices of all types of fuel show a slight drop on Thursday morning in Lebanon.
According to the new tariffs published by the Ministry of Energy, the 20 liter cans of gasoline 95 and 98 register a reduction of 3,000 LL and cost respectively 676,000 LL and 687,000 LL. The can of diesel for vehicles is priced at 747,000 LL , after a drop of 22,000 LL, and the domestic gas cylinder costs 347,000 LL, its price having fallen by 11,000 LL.
The price of fuel oil used for generators, which have become essential to produce electricity in a country where public electricity is rationed for many hours a day, remains unchanged, at 1,255 dollars per ton.
