Fallout 76 continues its merry way: today, we learn that the update “Expeditions: The Pitt” is deployed free of charge, for all players on all platforms. With even a ruthless trailer as a bonus.

Remember: the first time we could walk around Pittsburgh in Fallout was in an expansion of the third installment in the late 2000s: fans will be delighted to learn that the wastelands of “The Pitt” are back with an update for Fallout 76. It is completely free and deployed on PC and consoles.
The least we can say is that these “new” environments turn out to be extremely feared by everyone: referred to as “hell” by more than one local, you have to be willing to fight it out to venture there. The Trogs, enemies that we had already seen in the DLC of Fallout 3are thus back to put a spoke in the wheels of the players (and not only, you can imagine).
Fallout 76 The Pitt: what is the Expeditions program?
First of all, and it therefore seems rather logical, the great novelty of this update consists in the contribution of a new place: Pittsburgh, aka The Pitt in the post-apo world of Fallout. This new region, once very urban and very industrial, can therefore be (re)discovered in the MMO. Be careful though, because the radiation has mutated the citizens into killing machines.
Then, and as its name suggests, there will be ‘Expeditions: these are missions for groups of players, up to four people, and can be picked up from Whitespring Refuge in Appalachia, where a vertibird will take the crew right into The Pitt. At his own risk.
The opportunity for this update to bring new warring factions: on the one hand, the former workers of The Pitt turned Union freedom fighters and on the other, the lawless looters fond of the power of the Fanatics. The stakes of each clan will be discovered during the expeditions: beware, however, of new enemies who will not be kind to the players.
Finally, note the inclusion of new rewards: at the end of each expedition, stamps (a new currency to be exchanged with the Union) will be up for grabs, which will allow to acquire weapons, power armor, outfits, CAMP supplies, and other goodies.
