Families from Central offer fresh products from the countryside without intermediaries

Asuncion, IP Agency.- Some 27 families from Capiatá and Itá are participating this Tuesday in the Family Agriculture Fair -without intermediaries- on the Canal Gen esplanade, in the Nación Media building, on Avda. Mariscal López almost Gral. Mc Arthur, from 7:00 a.m., until stocks run out.

It is promoted by the government, through technical departments of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, with the support of the Itaipu Binational Entity, in order to promote the development and dynamism of the productivity of rural families in the country, through direct sales.

Buyers will be able to access quality fresh products such as Paraguay cheese, at G. 32,000 per kilo; pork, lamb, home-made chicken, duck, home-made eggs G. 16,000 per dozen; as well as corn, corn flour G. 10,000 per kilo; red beans at G. 10,000 per kilo.

Also, honey, peanuts, peky butter beans, broad beans, peky beans; starch at G. 10,000 per kilo; tomato, G. 12,000 per kilo; pepper, cassava, sweet potato, green vegetables in general at G. 1,500 per bunch; seasonal fruits, grains in general, a variety of typical and traditional foods, crafts, flowers and plants, among other products.
