by Alexandra Hartman Editor-in-Chief

Thirty families from the Ndala Muleba, Catanga, Catapa and Pedreira neighborhoods, in the commune of Barra do Dande, Bengo province, benefited, this weekend, from basic food baskets and clothing, in an initiative by the Bellcci Foundation

Families received products such as rice, beans, pasta, cornmeal, oil, clothing, shoes and hygiene products, as part of the solidarity Christmas.

Also within this scope, 130 children from the Catapa, Catanga, Pedreira and Kimanja neighborhoods were treated to a celebratory snack.

The children received donations with the aim of minimizing the need their families experience during this festive season.

The coordinator of the Bellucci Foundation, Anabela Sillva, stated that the foundation carries out monthly social assistance activities for families in need that end with Christmas in December.

In 2024, the foundation’s projects will focus on training women in the areas of pastry and cooking.

Created in 2022, the Bellucci foundation aims to assist needy families with basic food baskets and support children in obtaining identity registration documents.
