Paris Match. On November 7, 2023, you filed a complaint with the police concerning your sister Anouchka. For what ?
Anthony Delon. Yes… She left me no choice! My sister never informed my brother and I that between 2019 and 2022 my father had undergone five cognitive tests during his clinic visits in Switzerland and that he passed none of them. According to doctors, these tests demonstrate cognitive degradation which places my father in a position of psychological weakness and therefore vulnerability. Anouchka, who lives in Switzerland and has worked for my father’s company since 2018, was in fact the contact person at the clinic, as well as Hiromi Rollin who always accompanied her on her travels. She hid these results from us, for personal interests that I don’t care about today, even if I don’t yet know their full significance. On the other hand, what is serious for me is that, knowing of Ms. Rollin’s actions, she hid from us the distress in which our father found himself. By remaining silent, she clearly put him in danger. To me, this makes her indirectly complicit in all the abuse and violence of which he was the victim. I remind you that on July 5 we recovered him in a more than worrying physical and psychological state. For more than nine months, my sister kept me from intervening, I now understand why… From a moral point of view, it is abject. I must be consistent and in agreement with my way of thinking. So I put down this handrail to leave a mark, and also because a person who is capable of manipulating her family and lying to them like she did is capable of anything.

How did you discover the existence of these tests?
After July 5, when we kicked out Hiromi Rollin, we had to find a doctor to follow my father daily in Douchy, the one who took care of him having been transferred to the provinces a few weeks before. I’m the one who took care of it. His file was naturally transferred from Switzerland for the purposes of medical monitoring. It was only at the end of September that my brother and I discovered the existence of these five tests, following an “indiscretion” from the doctor who thought we knew. Today, the Orléans research brigade has them in its possession after having seized them in addition to the ongoing investigation. Because, beyond the family aspect, there is also a legal aspect. The police have a lot of questions. They also try, it seems to me, to understand Anouchka’s motivations.

How did your sister react when you confronted her about what she didn’t say?

She claimed to be aware of only one or two tests, one performed a few weeks after the July 2019 stroke and the other six months later, arguing that at the time she was concerned about her pregnancy [son fils Lino est né en février 2020] and that it had completely slipped his mind. Then she evaded. However, five tests were carried out in the space of two and a half years, pregnancy does not explain everything…

We are very worried about your father, news of whom is rare. How is he ?
He’s not doing well, he’s weakened, he’s fed up. He also feels all these tensions around him and I think it pains him. Look, my sister didn’t come to spend Christmas with us, it affected her a lot too. However, there is a strong risk that it will be his last. He actually said to Sophie, the mother of my daughters who came back and forth during the day to kiss him: “It’s my last Christmas, are you staying?” She had planned to spend Christmas with her two other children, she left Douchy with tears in her eyes.

Who surrounds your father now?
My little brother Alain-Fabien lives in Douchy now. He is very present. He takes care of himself very well. I think my father needed this. I go see him there on average twice a week, sometimes with my daughters Liv and Loup who are very attached to their grandfather. For Anouchka who lives in Switzerland, it’s a little more restrictive, it’s a five-hour drive. She comes when she can.
Did you spend New Year’s Eve with him?
As you could see, we spent the Christmas holidays together, with Liv, Loup and Alain-Fabien, that’s the most important thing: Christmas is a family celebration. New Year has less importance. I remember my mother who didn’t want to celebrate the year 2021. She told me: “You stay at home, I’m not going to celebrate the year when I’m going to give up…”

What state of mind is your father in? How is he going through this period psychologically?
He can no longer stand seeing himself like this, diminished. He doesn’t speak much, it tires him or it annoys him when we make him repeat, because his voice is no longer always placed, I mean audible.

Does he still want to end his days in Douchy? Why is he so attached to this house?
Yes, ending his days in Douchy is his last wish and it will be respected. He doesn’t want to move anymore; moreover, according to the doctor, it is not transportable. Taking him to Switzerland would be extremely dangerous. It has even been a source of conflict in recent weeks between my sister and us, her sons. She would like to repatriate him to Geneva at all costs, because it suits her! The problem is that he has done too many things to her and he has trouble saying no to her… But it is his will that must take precedence this time. My father is attached to this house because he built it, lived in it: every square centimeter of Douchy resembles him, is full of its history. It’s his home. The dogs are there too…

You’ve spent a lot of time there yourself recently. Are you also attached to this property, what does it mean to your family?
Each of us has our own story, each of us has made our own memories. I saw this place born: Mireille [Darc] built the main house and destroyed the castle to dig out the lake and “welcome the ducks”. I also saw here Jean-Claude Bouttier preparing for the World Boxing Championship. For my father, it is simply his home, his refuge. It’s strong and very simple at the same time, isn’t it?

What was the trigger for your joint action against Hiromi Rollin? Who of you three, Alain Delon’s children, raised the alarm? What made you take action?
I was the first to “twitch”, so to speak, when I came to lunch in Douchy for my father’s birthday. I learned that he had seriously injured himself when he fell and that this lady had not called anyone. Then, for almost eighteen months, I notified the police of what was happening, so as to file my complaint when the time came. Then, a few weeks before our intervention, there was another complaint made by Anouchka and a lawyer specializing in inheritance law, which my brother and I co-signed to remain united.

Is it true that, on June 27, your father asked – in writing – Hiromi Rollin to leave Douchy? How did you learn it? Do you have this document?
I was there when he signed this document. He actually did it at the end of June, at the Genolier clinic [en Suisse], in the presence of my sister and me. The document is in the possession of the Montargis prosecutor.

Is Loubo, the Malinois shepherd, with Alain Delon today? How does your father spend his days?
Loubo never leaves my father’s side. My father is in his thoughts. When in the kitchen, he looks outward, often clasping his hands in thought. He also always keeps an eye on the security camera screens, an eye suddenly alert, concentrated, almost inquisitive, then he goes back into his memories.

You spend a lot of time with your father in Douchy, have the recent events brought you closer together?
No more than that… It was my book “Between Dog and Wolf” * which especially brought us closer together. He understood that it was not a settling of scores but, on the contrary, that I was talking about love and forgiveness. Today, his mood is often changing, probably because of what he’s going through, and I won’t hide the fact that it’s a little complicated for everyone to manage.

Can we say that these trials also brought you closer to your brother and sister?
I wasn’t really close to them before July 5th. They know each other perfectly because they grew up together, but I met them late. The Rollin affair at least had the benefit of giving me the opportunity to get to know them.
Unfortunately, my father was unable to bring his family together.

What do you say to those who claim that these are only the beginnings of a quarrel over inheritance?
My father sorted things out. He did what seemed right to him. I will be transparent about this when the time comes. I don’t have a problem with that, the past has shown that I always said what I thought, without filter. My book is, I believe, further proof of this.
Your father once said he wanted to “give his children a happy ending.” Will he succeed?
Money has never brought true happiness, otherwise it would be known. Family happiness is union, love, trust and empathy towards one’s loved ones. Unfortunately, he was unable to bring his family together. Look at what happened when he received his honorary Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, for example, the story speaks for itself… [NDLR : en 2019, Anouchka Delon était la seule invitée par son père pour la remise de cette récompense.]
How do you imagine the time he has left and the future of the family he founded?
God only knows the time allotted to him. I learned that you shouldn’t hope or plan at this stage of your life: you have to take each day as it comes. As for the family he founded, we’ll see. Today, I can only vouch for the one I built. I know how I raised my children.
