Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Family Health Unit (USF) of the “3 de febrero” district, in the department of Caaguazú, benefited from the maintenance of its building structure and the delivery of a batch of medicines, guaranteeing one of the essential components of the Primary Health Care strategy.
As part of the intersectoral action, the government of the fifth department supported with an investment of 137,227,381 guaraníes, various improvements in the building infrastructure such as electrical installation, toilet conditioning, painting of the building, river drainage, and walkways. The collaboration between various sectors strengthens the health strategy and different groups of society.
While national, departmental and local authorities are working to strengthen the capacity to respond to public health, citizens are urged to support the fight by complying with measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The population is urged to wash their hands frequently with soap and water, wear masks, maintain physical distancing of two meters, not share utensils, mate or tereré; and for the labor sector, the implementation of crews.
