This Friday, the Attorney General of Nuevo León reported that he found the body of a woman in Apodaca, in an address located on Calle Circuit of the Estates, from the colony Former Hacienda Santa Rosa.

Although the authorities did not confirm the death at the time, it was rumored that they were the remains of Maria Fernanda Contrerasmissing since last April 3.
It was through social networks that Soraya Floreswho identified herself as María Fernanda’s aunt, published a note thanking the family for their support and prayers.

Maria Fernanda Contreras Ruizfrom 27 years old, was reported missing on April 3, in the La Alhambra neighborhood, in Monterrey.
After his disappearance and the discovery of his car, a Mazda 3 vehicle located near the facilities of the Palace of Justice of Nuevo Leonthe authorities deployed a search operation.
As part of the operation, at least three homes in the municipality of Apodaca were searched, where the GPS of the young woman’s cell phone marked her last location.
After the discovery, the State Attorney General’s Office confirmed the discovery of a body, which showed signs of violence, however they said they could not determine if it was María Fernanda.
So far, neither the Prosecutor’s Office nor the state government have commented on the matter or have released more information on the case.
