Muscat: Fan Festival has started at Oman Convention and Exhibition Center with excitement for the World Cup football fans. Yesterday, which was the opening day, hundreds of fans came to the festival.
The authorities have prepared various programs for fans and tourists in the fans festival which will last till 18th of next month. All the World Cup matches will be telecasted live at OCEC’s festival in Golden.
An area of 9,000 square meters in the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center Garden has been reserved for the Football Fans Festival.
A variety of interactive games, football matches, local and international food and beverage outlets as part of the festival will attract both children and adults. An entry fee of two riyals is charged.
