Doha: Farewell to the Gold Cup in Qatar at the end of the World Cup Trophy Tour, which continues to excite football fans. Colorful events will be held in Qatar on Tuesday at 7.00 pm. The farewell ceremony will be attended by people including Brazilian football legend Kafu. The gold crown will travel temporarily to Qatar at the end of the ceremony, which starts at 7 pm.
The trophy will be flown to FIFA headquarters in Zurich, then return to the World Cup venue on November 21, just before the opening match. The trophy tour of Qatar, which started on May 5, arrived in Souk Waqif on Sunday night. As in the previous days, thousands of people, including expatriates, came to see the Gold Cup.
The five-day tour was held across the country as part of a 200-day countdown. Today’s trophy tour will take place at the Qatar Foundation Student’s Center, Qatar University, Mishreb Town Doha and Mishreb House.
