The fat deposits in our body do not have a good image, as many simply regard them as an unnecessary burden, as a health risk and, for some, as aesthetic problem areas that we must fight with all our might. Pamela Fischer-Posovszky finds this bad image unfair. The Heisenberg professor at Ulm University Hospital has been researching the tissue for over 20 years and is fascinated by it.
