A serious accident occurred this Sunday around 6 p.m. on the A12 motorway in Meise, just north of Brussels, in the direction of Antwerp. The collision occurred at kilometer marker 3.2, at the connection between the Brussels ring road and the A12.
“Big accident, at least 15 cars impacted“, wrote a witness to us via the orange Alert us button. Contacted by us, the federal police spokesperson said that three vehicles were damaged, but that several others stopped to help and testify to the facts. Three drivers were affected in the collision. One of them, a man born in 1949, died. Two other motorists were injured, but we do not know the seriousness of their injuries.
The prosecution descended on the spot and an expert was sent.
