It appears that on the night of Friday December 22 to Saturday December 23, around 2:50 a.m., a person was fatally injured following a brawl which took place in the café-discotheque called Champs Elysées, in the town of Petange.

According to an article from our colleagues in Le Républicain Lorrain published on Saturday evening, the victim is a 35-year-old French national living in Longuyon. This was subsequently confirmed by the Luxembourg authorities. This person had crossed the border to celebrate the end of the year with colleagues and friends.
