Euseglimar González | LA PRENSA DE LARA.- A young man lost his life and one was injured when they were hit by a bus when they were traveling aboard a motorcycle through the La Melonera sector of Pavia, west of Barquisimeto.
It was learned that the teenager, along with a minor and another young adult, were traveling on a motorcycle along the avenue, but when they were right at the “Y”, the driver of a bus apparently did not notice them and He took them ahead.
The three were ejected, but the teenager was the one who suffered the hardest blow, as he was the one on the grill of the motorcycle.
The people who were in the area helped the injured and took them to the Seguro Pastor Oropeza, arriving at 12:10 this Sunday, but the young man was admitted without vital signs.
While the other teenager only presented multiple trauma and was confined under observation.
A police source indicated that the driver of the motorcycle only had a scratch on one arm and was detained by Transit officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), as was the driver of the transport unit.
The arrest of both is due to the alleged responsibilities they have for the accident. The source consulted maintained that the accident could have been due to alleged recklessness; However, investigations will determine responsibilities and whether the drivers were traveling on the road under the influence of alcohol.
The relatives of the deceased were this Sunday around the morgue doing the paperwork to be able to remove the body.
