A young woman, aged 28, in the Lixeira Baixa neighborhood, in Benguela, was allegedly killed by her father, after he realized that his daughter was HIV positive. The alleged murderer is currently on the run, but the spokesperson for the National Police, Superintendent Ernesto Tchiwale, who confirmed the fact to the press on Wednesday, 20th, guarantees steps will be taken to arrest him.
Information available at the scene, collected by the forces, indicates that the young woman, found dead, had allegedly been attacked with a stone by her father, after he realized that she was a carrier of HIV/AIDS. Once the illicit act was completed, the alleged perpetrator of the death fled, leaving the body inside the residence where they both lived.
“After realizing this diagnosis, he then started attacking with a stone and ended up causing injuries that even led to death”, confirmed the spokesperson, who will not provide any further information about the author, promising to do so as soon as he is arrested. .
According to Ernesto Tchiwale, the police forces on site carried out all police actions, culminating in the removal of the body from the victim’s house, which was also followed by the opening of the respective criminal case, so that it could come to an end. to answer for the alleged criminal action attributed to him.
This time, the director of Institutional Communication and Press of the Provincial Command of the National Police in Benguela ensures investigations by investigators from the Department of Criminal Offenses and not only to locate and, consequently, arrest the aggressor father. “When he is detained, we will also be able to appear, following the information and be able to say that, therefore, he has already been detained”, he promises.
