FC Bayern – announcement by President Herbert Hainer: 100 million transfer and Premier League players feasible

According to President Herbert Hainer, Bayern Munich would be able to realize a €100m transfer this summer. “We are very well positioned financially and have big goals. So the answer is: Yes, we could – but we would discuss it intensively in our group. We also decided with Lucas Hernandez – and that was four years ago – 80 million euros transfer fee to pay,” said Hainer in the sports picture.

Bayern are currently looking for several positions, especially a center forward and a defensive midfielder. A favorite of coach Thomas Tuchel is said to be West Ham United’s Declan Rice (24) six, who would be expensive accordingly. Hainer did not want to comment on Rice’s personal details. The England international is in the Conference League final against Fiorentina on Wednesday.

However, Hainer does not appear to be fundamentally averse. “We have to check in principle: what do we want – and what can we really achieve? In the end, the candidates must also fit Bayern. But if we really want someone, Bayern can also get a player from the Premier League. We are a very good, highly respected address,” said the 68-year-old.

England’s national team captain Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) has repeatedly been traded for the attack in recent months. Recently, however, there have been increasing signs that the 29-year-old would prefer to stay on the island even in the event of a change. “If that’s his wish, we can’t change it,” said Hainer: “We definitely need a center forward. Harry Kane is a great number 9 in general.”

Meanwhile, vice world champion Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt or Victor Osimhen from Italian champions SSC Naples were under discussion as alternative storms. However, Hainer is skeptical about two 100 million transfers: “We are sportingly ambitious, but we will not endanger FC Bayern’s economic stability.”
