Love off after 28 years!
According to BILD information, Bayern’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic (45) and his wife Esther Copado have split up. The Bayern boss has already moved out of the common house.
The couple met through Esther’s brother in Hamburg in 1994 when Salihamidzic and Francisco Copado (47 today) were playing for HSV.
They moved to Munich together in 1998 when Salihamidzic signed for FC Bayern.
The marriage followed in May 2007.
Salihamidzic and Copado have three children: Lara June (16), Nick (19), Selina (21). Nick plays for the FC Bayern amateurs.

In a joint interview at the opening of their yoga studio in Munich in 2016, she said about the secret of the success of their relationship at the time: “Love and respect. We appreciate each other, love and respect each other very much. What is very important: we trust each other. We have a relationship of equals. Everyone gives the other the necessary freedom and gives the other the necessary support.”
The family fell victim to hateful messages after Bayern’s quarter-finals in the Champions League. Copado published chat histories via Instagram, including death threats, should her husband not leave the club.
After his playing days, the family stayed in Munich. He returned to the club as sporting director in July 2017 after nine years as a player. He has been sporting director at Bayern since 2020.
Hasan Salihamidzic did not want to comment on the separation from BILD.
