Means: Bayern removed Tuchel’s predecessor Julian Nagelsmann (35) with a graphics program and replaced Tuchel! The “new” team photo was then apparently hung up in the stadium catacombs during the week. After the performance, the club took photos of Tuchel for autograph cards during the week. A week after Nagelsmann was kicked out, Bayern reacted with lightning speed and removed all traces of his ex-coach. A week ago on Friday, the record champions officially announced the separation from Nagelsmann, whose contract runs until 2026. Tuchel’s commitment was announced on the same day.
The new coach revealed before the BVB game that he has not yet spoken to his predecessor. Tuchel explains: “I myself did not seek contact with him. We are all different and perceive things differently. I want to collect my own impressions in an unadulterated manner.”
Also means that Tuchel continues to work with some of Nagelsmann’s confidants.
The coach: “So far, the cooperation has worked without any problems because I don’t ask about what happened before and I don’t want to know too much about it. Of course, people from Julian’s team went with us, but some stayed. I see no reason why it shouldn’t be. I wasn’t playing a detective game about who was close to him and who wasn’t. So far, the mood has been very helpful and positive.”
