Now the world footballer is upping the ante again! In a podcast of the Polish sports portal “Onet Sport”, the striker star made it clear once again that he absolutely wants to leave Munich.
Lewandowski explains why: “I go because I want to have more emotions in my life. They didn’t want to listen to me to the end. Something in me is extinguished. And it’s impossible to ignore. Even if you want to be professional, you can’t make amends.”
Lewandowski doesn’t believe that FC Bayern will really forbid him to change, even if he still has a year’s contract: “Why? What kind of player would want to come to FC Bayern when he knows that something like this could happen to him?” The top scorer in the Bundesliga wants to join FC Barcelona this summer.
For the Pole, a change ban a year before the end of the contract would be ungrateful behavior from the record champions: “Where is the loyalty and respect? I was always ready, I’ve spent eight beautiful years here, I’ve met so many wonderful people and I want it to stay that way in my mind.”
That’s why he has a clear idea of how the dispute should continue: “I think it will be best to find a good solution for both sides and not to look for a unilateral decision. That does not make sense.”
According to BILD information, the interview was recorded last Friday. It clearly shows that Lewandowski has not rethinked Bayern’s future. On the contrary.
