Thanks to their success against the Finnish club HJK Helsinki during the previous round, the U-19s of FC Nantes qualified for the play-offs of the Youth Leaguethe European Cup for young people.
In this continental competition, the young Canaries, reigning French U-19 champions, come from the “National Champions route”. This Tuesday, December 19, 2023, the draw for the play-offs took place, pitting eight winners of the “Champions route” against the eight group runners-up in the “Champion’s League route”.
The Yellow and Green will challenge the Spanish Sevilla FC.

The play-off against the Andalusians will be played over a match Nantes. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday February 6 or Wednesday February 7, 2024. The club could decide to relocate the match to the Beaujoire stadium as in the previous round against Helsinki.
However, the calendar could complicate things because, if the FC Nantes pros qualify for the Coupe de France, the La Beaujoire stadium may not be available. Indeed, the round of 16 of the competition is scheduled for February 7.
