On February 23, 2024, the department of foreign philology and translation held an educational event in English “Famous Ukrainian Women Who Radically Changed the World” with the winners of the educational program “English and a second foreign language”, dedicated to famous Ukrainian women who changed the world.
The initiator and organizer of the event was Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, professor of the department Olena MOSKALENKO, who engaged students in an interesting discussion of famous historical and modern figures: the wise beauty Princess Olga, Anna Yaroslavna – daughters Yaroslav the Wiseunsurpassed and bright Roksolana Hurrem-Sultanpoets Lesya Ukrainkaa touching and charming singer Cysyk flowersan outstanding poetess Lina Kostenkoartists Kateryna BilokurPeople’s Artist of Ukraine Ada Rogovtseva. They also mentioned famous female athletes – a tennis player Elina Svitolina and fencer Olga Garlan. Of course, they talked about the First Lady – Elena Zelenska and her photo with a special message on the cover of Vogue magazine. We remember the Ukrainian woman doctor, authorized to rehabilitate our soldiers Julia Paevska “Tairu”.
This list of Ukrainian women can be continued for a very long time, women who create our history and fulfill their special mission in the world. Ukrainian women are UNBEATABLE!
